DESCRIPTION:Individuals and groups of all ages are invited to create a piece of art or sculpture by upcycling books and/or book pages. The James Kennedy Public Library will provide a grocery bag full of old books to use for their art. The art or sculpture can be any design and can be created by individuals\, families\, couples\, or groups of any age. Come to the library or sign up to participate at the library booth at the Dyersville Downtown Market on June 29. Finished projects should be brought to the library on or before Friday\, July 26. On Saturday\, July 27\, all submissions will be displayed at the Downtown Market with a mason jar adjacent to them. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite by putting money in the jar. At the end of the Market\, the creator of the item that brought in the most money will win a special prize. All money raised will be used to support library collections and services.
