DESCRIPTION:Join us at Textile Brewing Company for a special (and FREE) event! Farmers\, growers\, supporters\, beer drinkers\, community... EVERYONE is invited! Presentations will be given on agriculture and its connection to the brewing industry with a focus on what sustainable/regenerative agriculture is doing for soil health\, water quality and the environment. As a brewery\, we source many local ingredients to create our beers. You will get to enjoy brews made with ingredients from local Iowa farms (one of which being a regenerative farm). We will also discuss our role in sustainability as a brewery. Farming and beer work perfectly together and this education day will discuss all of the ways that's true! Schedule: 11am | The Big Show (1040 WHO Des Moines AM radio station) will be recording a live broadcast on-site 12:30-3pm | Presentations begin by Evan Brehm (Indigo Ag)\, Tom Olberding (Textile)\, Liz Haney (Soil Regen and Regen Mills)\, and Brian Doughtery (ISU) 3pm | Social hour\, fellowship and networking *This entire event is during Textile's open hours (11am-9pm)-- Beer and food available *You are welcome to come before the presentations and listen in on the live broadcast by The Big Show *FREE event!
