DESCRIPTION:Every November 8\, the fields of science\, technology\, engineering\, arts and mathematics take the spotlight for National STEM/STEAM Day. To celebrate\, the James Kennedy Public Library will be hosting a mini STEAMfest! There will be several stations set up so you can try each of the activities such as a demo of the instruments available in the Library of Things collection\; the Turing Tumble Tables - a board set that teaches users how computers work via a series of logic games\; and come color and bake your own Shrinky Dinks. All ages are welcome\, but participants under the age of 7 will need an accompanying adult.
