Cottage Foods Workshop
Description
Interested in starting or growing a small food business from home? This workshop will provide practical guidance to those considering selling baked goods or other cottage food products at farmers markets, roadside stands, or other direct to consumer sales. Participants will learn how Iowa food laws support home based entrepreneurs and what steps are required to operate legally as well as grant opportunities for food businesses.
