Social Issues Book Club

Description

In this 6 month series, participants will read one book each month that highlights a particular social issue and discuss it at a meeting. The theme for this month is Poverty and the book is "Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City" by Matthew Desmond. Copies of each book will be available to borrow from the library. This book club will be a hybrid program where participants can attend in-person or via Zoom. If you are interested in participating please contact the library to register, as space is limited.
