Wild Edibles Hike with James Kennedy Public Library

Description

Join a naturalist from Dubuque County Conservation for a hike in search of wild edibles. During our hike, you will get the chance to learn about some of the wild edibles that are found in Dubuque County, the health benefits to foraging, plants we should avoid, look-alikes, and more. No registration required, just show up at New Wine Park shortly before 5:30 pm. Please cross the bridge on the right and meet on the left grass field. We will be off the hiking trails, so please wear closed-toed shoes and pants. All ages welcome but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
